From the few that I’ve heard (that you’ve put up on your blog), your stories are absolutely wonderful! One of my first thoughts when I first heard them was “I sure could have used these when my kids were little”. Alas, they are now both over 21 yrs, and I don’t think they’d like it if I tried to read to them anymore. Where has the time gone?

I also kind of know how you feel, though. I have been shooting photography for almost 30 years, and have some of my photos for purchase represented by a couple of internet photo agencies. I shoot mainly landscape (“The heavens declare the glory of God, and the firmament shows his handiwork”), have sold some of my work so far, and have found that my photos, as good as they are, somehow only trickle in the sales. Nothing to write home about.

Oh well, God has certainly provided enough beauty to photgraph for a thousand lifetimes, and I behold God’s beauty everytime I’m out shooting it. If it sells, well, more to put back into the service of advancing Christ’s kingdom. I’m blessed just sharing the gift he has given. You have a gift, there is no doubt. What you have provided has blessed someone somewhere, and that, my friend, is using your talent to the glory of God. Where can you go wrong in so doing?
