Yet I will rejoice in the LORD,
I will joy in the God of my salvation.
The LORD God is my strength;
He will make my feet like deer’s feet,
And He will make me walk on my high hills.
Yet I will rejoice in the LORD,
I will joy in the God of my salvation.
The LORD God is my strength;
He will make my feet like deer’s feet,
And He will make me walk on my high hills.
Buddy,
I’m thinking that’s about the most worthwhile blog post I’ve seen. Nothing to argue with there, eh? What a tremendous passage, especially growing out of the context it does.
I will rejoice in the Lord = I won’t seek for joy in anything else. He’s all I need; I’m satisfied; in fact, I’m delighted. And my joy will be as constant as its Cause…despite the hardships described in v. 17 and the first 3 chapters of the book.
Thanks for the reminder.
