We have been praying for wisdom to know what kind of vehicle to get as a second car. The Saab has been fun and reliable, but it was becoming a bit cramped for three children. So, we looked at used Saab 9000s, 7-passenger Volvo wagons, and Mercury Villagers, (and even test drove a new Saab 9-7x!) but nothing seemed right until Saturday morning. After visiting every other lot on Vine Street, we finally purchased a 1999 Chevrolet Venture.
I purchased a built-in Whirlpool dishwasher from Best Buy. But when I got it home, I realized that installing it into our counter was more of a challenge than I could handle. But before admitting defeat, I attempted to install it in the carcass of our old portable dish washer (the one Jim & Laura gave to mom & dad). Amazingly, the thing fit! There’s nothing that a few drywall screws, teflon tape, and $11 worth of brass fittings can’t fix, eh?
The dish washer leaks. 🙁
Hey, all our emails are bouncing back to us. Must be either that Swedish technology or bad dishwasher installation, eh?

I thought maybe it was deadline week for the Visitor. Hmm… I’ll check into that.
BTW, Dan, I heard that Chris Weber really wanted to return to Michigan because they were the ones that had payed him the most to play basketball. ha ha
