We are proud to announce that a new entrepreneur is operating on Watson Street. Jefferson started collecting pop cans last year and has managed to save about fifty so far. His expectations are high thinking he’ll get $1 per can. Who knows? The way scrap prices have been rising, he may!

I began new employment as a bus driver at Head Start in Perry, Ohio last Friday. We had 4½ hours of training with various department supervisors. I’ll be shadowing a veteran driver this week to get used to their system. Being “in the world” again has already proved to be an interesting experience. Pray that I’ll be a good testimony for the Lord.

being employed by head start, is it like being in the public school system where employees are restrained from speaking to the children about the Lord? has your supervisor instructed you in any way concerning this?

That’s a good question. I’ve not asked for permission but have been wondering what is appropriate. My conversations with the children are rather limited as I am a bus driver. But I have had several spiritual conversations with those in the transportation department. Please pray for more opportunities and boldness/wisdom.
