Driving a Saab was getting old, so I decided to migrate to something that had a bit more power. As you can see from the picture, my new vehicle has room for a Chevy V8 with all the power I could ever need. What a thrill! It’s what I’ve been waiting for all my life! It just doesn’t get any better than this.

Actually, I’ve taken a job as a bus driver for the Head Start pre-school in Perry, Ohio. I became a licensed bus driver several years ago for Mentor Christian School. So, I already had the qualifications required for the job. But I had no experience picking up and dropping of children at their homes. Now I do!

The schedule is a bit difficult (MON-THU 6:30am-6:00pm), but I have enjoyed getting to know the other bus drivers and monitors as well as the pre-school children and their parents. And, believe it or not, I’ve had more opportunities to talk about my new life in Jesus Christ in this setting than as a pastor.
