On a lighter note …

We used to enjoy watching an occasional Ohio State football game on television until the Big Ten network took over. As we don’t subscribe to cable or satellite television, we were resigned to checking the scores via espn.com. However, I learned last week that ESPN360 formed a deal with my broadband carrier (AT&T) which allows me to watch games via my computer. Amazingly I’ll be watching the Ohio State vs. Washington game without paying any extra moolah. I like that.

Suggested Minimum System Requirements:

PC
Processor Speed: 1.5 Ghz
Memory: 512 MB of RAM
Operating System:Windows XP
Browsers: Internet Explorer 6+ and Mozilla Firefox 2.0+
Plugins: Adobe Flash Player 8+
Screen Resolution: 1024×768 or higher with 32-bit color
Connection Speed: 768 Kbps

Mac
Processor Speed: 1.5 Ghz
Memory: 512 MB of RAM
Operating System:OSX
Browsers: Mozilla Firefox 2.0+, Safari 2.0
Plugins: Adobe Flash Player 8+
Screen Resolution: 1024×768 or higher with 32-bit color
Connection Speed: 768 Kbps

As usual, these requirements are not set in stone. My computer has a P4 1.3 Ghz processor, 512 MB, and Win XP. And to make the screen big enough for others to view, I changed the screen resolution to 800 x 600. Besides being a bit grainy, it works quite well.
