We were given tickets to the Geauga County Fair by a friend of the family. So, Monday, we drove down to Burton to take in a few rides, elephant ears, and listen to the Great Geauga County Fair Band. (Several of our friends from church play in the band.) And when the rain hit during the afternoon, we visited the animal barns. The children got to hold fancy hens, rabbits, and were compelled to sit atop a horse.

Tuesday, while the kids were in school, I scraped the side of the house in the rain (with an umbrella). And I was thankful to the Lord for allowing the rain to dissipate long enough to prime and paint the bottom portion of this side of the house (as far as I could reach without a ladder).
